Good job fans – Reese was named Favorite Female Movie Star yesterday at the People’s Choice Awards! It was announced in a televised program that was drastically altered due to the Hollywood writers strike. Instead of receiving their statuettes to great applause during a traditional awards ceremony, the recipients taped acceptance speeches for a canned broadcast that aired on CBS.
Reuters reports that:
The event’s organizers were forced to change their plans last month because the Writers Guild of America is refusing to allow many awards shows to hire union writers and actors are not crossing the writers’ picket lines.
Depp and Witherspoon were named favorite male and female movie star. Neither was cited for any particular film, though Depp was in theaters last year with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, which won two other awards. Witherspoon appeared in only one movie, the box office bomb Rendition.

YAHHHH!!!!!!! haha reese can not and never will fail!!! even in what might seem to some as a pretty low-key non-busy (movie-wise) year, she manages to not only look great and accomplish great achievements for charities and Avon and whatnot, but win ANOTHER award to add to her already extensive collection!!!
p.s. haha in case u haven’t seen or heard yet i just wanted to point out the awesome news that Reese is on the cover of the February 2008 issue of the U.S. Marie Claire magazine!!! sooo excited, i cant wait to go out and buy it!! hopefully we can get scans sometime soon…!

Just curious as to why the video wasnt put on the video site. Is the quality too low or what? I have noticed that a few people have found the link above and have downloaded. I am just checking to see if by chance I get something that you dont have again do you want me to upload it or am I doing something wrong.
