As you know, we don’t post about Reese’s personal life here, but I thought this one article about her engagement ring was ok.

Entertainment Weekly showed a picture of the ring in one of their recent segments about Reese, and you can see a screencap of that in the Gallery (click the thumbnail preview image below). Hopefully Reese will make an appearance at an event soon so we can get a proper glimpse of it!

The 34-year-old How Do You Know actress accepted a stunning 4 carat Ashoka cut diamond engagement ring from CAA agent Jim Toth. (UsMagazine.com was the first to announce the couple’s “happy” engagement.)

Toth, 40, worked with jeweler William Goldberg to design the perfect sparkler for his bride-to-be. Set on a pave diamond-and-platinum band, Goldberg says Toth was drawn to the rarity of the Ashoka diamond, particularly with its 62 displayed facets and rounded corners.

“Jim wants it to come from him and for it to be completely unique,” a source told Us in November.

According to Goldberg, less than 10% of rough diamonds each year have the potential to become Ashoka cut diamonds, making it “the only choice” for a star like Witherspoon.

Reese’s Piece: See Witherspoon’s 4-Carat Engagement Ring

LeAnn Rimes isn’t the only A-lister making news today with a mega-watt engagement ring. Reese Witherspoon‘s sparkler has just been revealed as well. A rep for the Oscar-winning actress confirms that Reese’s fiancé, Jim Toth, 40, proposed with a 4-carat Ashoka diamond stunner set on a pave diamond-and-platinum band, similar to the one pictured above. So how did Toth land on the special sparkler? “In the past year, the retro look in diamonds has been very popular,” says Eve Goldberg, co-owner of William Goldberg Diamond Corporation, which produced the custom-designed ring. “It’s a very elegant cut and it has an old feel to it.” As for the stunning center stone, the jeweler says that Ashoka stones are rare, with less than 10 percent of rough diamonds each year having the potential to be cut in this unique way, with 62 displayed facets and rounded corners to create a dazzling sparkle–just like Reese’s eyes when she saw her ring, no doubt.
