The first batch of photos from last night’s Oscars have now been added to the Gallery! Reese looked stunning I think … I was wondering what kind of look she’d go for this year, and I was so happy to see she’d gone for a full-on sexy and glamorous look. I was a little in awe when I first saw her appear on the red carpet on my TV screen! This may be one of new favourite looks of hers. She’s wearing Armani Privé, with Neil Lane jewellery (love those emerald earrings!). Once inside the ceremony, Reese presented the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, which (deservedly) went to her American Psycho co-star Christian Bale for his role in The Fighter. After presenting him with the award she posed backstage with him in the press room.
Post-ceremony, Miss Reese headed on over to the Vanity Fair After Party, where she was seen chatting to her good friend Michelle Williams, as well as Michelle’s BFF Busy Phillips, and Elizabeth Banks. Her fiance Jim Toth was also with her. It looks like she had a fun time!
So, onto Gallery updates! I’ve added 49 exclusive HQs from the red carpet/show/press room, as well as photos from the Vanity Fair Party, and of Reese rehearsing her presentation the day before. And further down this post is a video of the Best Supporting Actor presentation. This is just the very start of our coverage – check back tomorrow for tons more photos, videos, as well as any tidbits/quotes/articles/etc I may find.
And don’t forget to leave a comment to tell us what you thought of Reese’s look!
It’s the big night!! Oscar night is upon us, and Reese has walked the red carpet and she is looking absolutely stunning in a black and white dress with her hair up. Below is the first photo, and I will probably update this post with a few more pics throughout the night, and then start full coverage with gallery updates, videos, articles and tidbits etc. starting from tomorrow.
Reese is presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor, which I think will be quite early on in the show.
I have to say, the photos online so far do not do justice to Reese’s look – she looked 10x more beautiful on the TV red carpet show!

Comments Off on Oscars Oscars Oscars! HQs from 2006 Oscar events
For our final Walk The Line week special, I’ve added almost 150 HQ photos from various Oscar events back in 2006! These are from the Oscar Nominees Luncheon, and the red carpet and show on Oscar night itself. While Reese’s Oscar dress is not my favourite look of hers, her hair and and make-up are stunning. And that little gold man she has on stage is a pretty awesome accessory too 😉
As you can imagine there are trillions of photos from Oscar night so the rest of them will be added as I go through and re-add all the old appearances, which I will be starting on as soon as this years Oscar season is over 😉
Enjoy the photos of Reese on her special night!
And remember, the next update here will be some very new Oscar photos, as Miss Reese is set to attend the ceremony tomorrow night, where she will be presenting the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Make sure you check back in here tomorrow night for all the coverage!
Our Walk The Line week continues today with 140 HQ photos from the premiere of the film for the AFI Film Festival Opening Night Gala back in November 2005. Reese looks absolutely stunning here! I adore her dress, hair and make-up – definitely one of my favourite looks of hers. Classy, sexy and very pretty. Plus, she and Ryan, and she and Joaquin look lovely together 😀
More Walk The Line goodies for you again today! I’ve added almost 60 HQ photos from the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Walk The Line, held in September 2005. Reese looks petite and cute in her little black dress, and there are a few fantastic shots with Joaquin Phoenix – I wonder what they were saying to each other in them! They are such a great pair, and clearly enjoyed promoting the film together 😀
Continuing our special Walk The Line week, I have today added over 230 photos – 170+ of which are HQ – of Reese at the New York premiere of Walk The Line, from back in November 2005. Reese looks gorgeous in her red Carolina Herrera dress, and her hair and make-up are perfect.
If you follow/read our Twitter, you’ll have seen my tweet about some big updates coming here this week! As you may know, it’s Oscar night this coming Sunday, and this year marks 5 years since our Reese won her Oscar for Walk The Line! So to celebrate this, we’re having a Walk The Line week here at Glamour Reese, which will consist of as many WTL-themed Gallery updates as I can fit in! I know we all adore this film, so I hope you’ll enjoy re-visiting some of our favourite photos relating to the movie.
So to start with, I’ve added 35 gorgeous HQs from the Walk The Line press conference, held way back in October 2005. Reese looks wonderful!
A big thanks goes to Holly for contributing scans from the new issue of Total Film magazine, which features lots of Reese! They have a preview of big 2011 films (WFE), a review of How Do You Know, and a fantastic new interview with Miss Reese! They also run down their favourite Reese roles – do you agree with them?!
Enjoy the scans, and please do not re-post them elsewhere online as they were scanned just for Glamour Reese!
