Academy Award®-winning actress Reese Witherspoon will be a presenter at the 83rd Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today.
In 2005 Witherspoon received her first Oscar® nomination and took home the award for her leading performance as June Carter in “Walk the Line.” She’ll be seen next in “Water for Elephants” and “This Means War.” Her other film credits include “Monsters vs Aliens,” “Four Christmases,” “Penelope,” “Rendition,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and the “Legally Blonde” films.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
Avon celebrates it’s 125th Anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion they are going on tour across the globe! Yesterday, our Reese attended their Avon World Tour event in Atlanta, where she and Avon CEO Andrea Jung cut their birthday cake, and announced some new intitiatives.
Reese wore an ivory coloured Giambattista Valli dress with Christian Louboutin heels for one part of the event, then changed into a lovely fitted blue dress!

Sony Pictures have released some video footage from Wednesday’s How Do You Know Photocall in Berlin. It’s pretty funny hearing the photographers shouting at her and telling her where to look … Miss Reese is a pro at it by now though
As mentioned earlier today, Reese is in Berlin today, and she and Paul Rudd attended a photocall for How Do You Know. Reese looked classy and casual in a little black dress and tights, and accessorised with a black necklace. The most important ‘accessory’ of all, though, was her stunning engagement ring, which we got our first sight of!

Great news Reese fans! How Do You Know will be promoted in Europe leading up to it’s release later this month, and Reese is already here to perform her duties! She appeared at a photocall in Berlin today, and we will have photos from that up asap. There may be a premiere in Berlin tonight as well, I’m just guessing there. There is a premiere scheduled for London tomorrow (Thursday 20th), although at one London premiere source it says that this has been cancelled. I’ll keep you posted, so keep checking back for the latest
Reese Witherspoon joined co-stars Owen Wilson, Jack Nicholson and Paul Rudd in Westwood, Calif., for the premiere of their new romantic comedy, “How Do You Know” – but how did Reese and Paul react to a reunion reminder that Access’ Tony Potts had for them from back in the day?
Stars Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and the usually elusive Jack Nicholson joined “Extra” on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of their comedy, “How Do You Know.” Check it out!
Fans have seen Jack Nicholson play everything from a retired astronaut in ‘Terms of Endearment’ to a raging alcoholic in ‘The Shining,’ but in his new movie ‘How Do You Know’ Jack plays a character that causes the actor to reveal a softer side of himself that audiences aren’t necessarily used to.
‘How Do You Know’ follows Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) a young woman caught in between two men: George (Paul Rudd), a businessman, and Matty (Owen Wilson), a professional baseball player.
Jack plays Paul’s father in the movie, who showers his son in kisses. The Oscar winner tried to describe how he felt locking lips with Paul.
“I kissed him so many times,” said Jack, at the Hollywood premiere on Monday. “I had all kinds of emotions.”
Paul called his smooch scenes with Jack an experience he’ll never forget.
“I think I kissed him in every scene,” said Paul. “I think that might be a record for me.”
Owen savored his role as a man who doesn’t hold himself to social conventions.
“He’s one of these guys who doesn’t really have a filter,” said Owen. “He just kind of says what comes into his mind.”
While filming, the cast received a surprise that Reese revealed on the red carpet, saying, “We were shooting in Washington D.C. and we thought, ‘Maybe we can get in [the White House]?’ so we called somebody and took a tour. And as we were on the tour we got a message that the President wanted to say hi and he had just seen ‘I Love You Man’ and he loved Paul’s performance, and it was really exciting.”
‘How Do You Know’ hits theaters Friday, December 17.
As posted about earlier, Miss Reese attended the world premiere of her new movie How Do You Know in Los Angeles last night, and I now have the first batch of photos for you! 48 HQ photos have been added to our Gallery, and there are plenty more to follow. Reese looked super pretty in her Zac Posen cocktail dress with Yves Saint Laurent Trib Too suede pumps, and she posed with her co-stars Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Kathryn Hahn, as well as their director James L. Brooks.
There are some gorgeous photos in there, but I have to point out this photo (and the one after it), of Reese being shown the DVD for Overnight Delivery, her first movie with Paul Rudd released back in 1998, and a classic old-school Reese movie! Wonder what she said to reporters when shown the DVD … (If you haven’t seen that movie then I’d definitely recommend it, it’s really funny!).
