Sissy Spacek and Mary Steenburgen are joining Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn for a season of holiday havoc in Four Christmases.
Kristin Chenoweth and Robert Duvall also star in the New Line romantic comedy, which is slated for release next year.
The story revolves around a newly married couple (Witherspoon and Vaughn) who decide to brave visits to all sets of their parents for the Christmas holiday — despite the scars each has from being raised in broken homes.

Reese and Vince were again photographed on the set of Four Christmases yesterday in San Francisco. Reese wore a pretty colorful dress, a large hat and kept warm in a light grey trench coat.

The gorgeous Reese was snapped filming scenes for Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn yesterday in San Francisco. Thanks to the people over at Popsugar.com we’ve added nine pictures from the set. These are our very first look at Reese’s character in the movie.

It looks like the production of Four Christmases has not been affected by the strike and will begin shooting in the middle of this week in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. New Line has tapped Robert Duvall for the holiday comedy Four Christmases, starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon.
The mini-major’s planning on a December production start for Four Christmases, which is set up at Spyglass with Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman producing. Vaughn and Witherspoon also are producing the pic, in which a couple struggles to visit all four divorced parents on Christmas Day.
Seth Gordon is directing from a script by the writing team of Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson. New Line’s hopeful it can get Four Christmases into theaters during next year’s holiday season.

I have added 4 videos of Reese from the October 10th premiere of Rendition, these are from various entertainment segments and other sources. In the E! News clip, Reese is super cute as always talking about possibly being a bee for Halloween. And in the long red carpet interview Ms Witherspoon confirms that Four Christmases is indeed her next project, which she starts filming in December! It looks like Reese is in negotiations to star in yet another new movie; this time for New Line Cinema’s comedy Four Christmases. Hollywood Reporter reports:
Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are in final negotiations to star in New Line Cinema’s comedy Four Christmases. In the film, Vaughn and Witherspoon will play a couple who struggle to visit all four of their divorced parents’ homes over the Christmas holiday.
The project is based on a screenplay by Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson. Producing are Spyglass Entertainment’s Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jon Glickman. Vaughn and Witherspoon are also in discussions to produce.
New Line production president Toby Emmerich and production executives Mark Kaufman and Michael Disco will oversee the project for the company.
