A couple of months ago Reese made a quick appearance in the ‘Tea Time with Sophia Grace & Rosie’ feature on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Reese played along with the fun, and even got to put a ballerina tutu and tiara on – adorable! The segment is so funny and sweet – give it a watch below, and find screencaptures in our Gallery
(September 12th) Plus, it’s the two most adorable girls in daytime television in their very own segment! SOPHIA GRACE & ROSIE are inviting some of the biggest stars in Hollywood over for tea! They’re kicking off our brand new segment on their very own set with the uncompromisingly charming REESE WITHERSPOON! It’s the first ever “Tea Time with Sophia Grace & Rosie!”
She’s the mom of an 8-year-old herself, so Reese had no problem connecting with our two pint-sized hosts. See what the A-lister had to talk to them about over tea!
Keen-eyed visitors will notice that I updated the Gallery with a new-old photo of Reese last weekend – the picture was taken for the New York Times in 1998 whilst Reese was promoting Pleasantville. It’s a simple but pretty picture of Reese, and a rare one too.
See the photo in the Gallery, and read the accompanying interview from 1998 below.
THE NEW SEASON/FILM: UP AND COMING: Reese Witherspoon; Commitment, Success and the Age of Ambivalence September 13, 1998
DISCUSSING her career recently, the actress Reese Witherspoon felt compelled to make a confession. ”I use this threat, whenever I get disappointed with the movie business,” she said, lowering her voice and narrowing her cornflower-blue eyes ominously. ”I say, ‘This is it — I’m going to med school!’ I would love to be a pediatric surgeon.” Chatting in a TriBeCa restaurant, Ms. Witherspoon veered from such pensive asides to moments in which she spoke giddily, even rhapsodically, about life as a fledgling 22-year-old movie star.
In one breath, she would gush about how exciting it was to work with Paul Newman and Susan Sarandon in the thriller ”Twilight,” released earlier this year, or to act opposite her boyfriend, Ryan Phillippe, in the forthcoming ”Cruel Intentions,” an updating of ”Les Liaisons Dangereuses.” In the next, she would lament the way that the news media glorify her profession. ”I’m so tired of reading about these ridiculous actors and their ridiculous lives,” she said, sounding convincingly jaded.
The women that Ms. Witherspoon has played on screen, particularly in smaller films like 1995’s ”Fear” and ”Freeway,” have also been complex, sometimes contradictory creatures; and the four characters she will introduce this fall and winter prove no exception.
I’ve got my hands on a copy of the This Means War DVD this weekend, and have added screencaptures from the extras for you. Unfortunately there were only 3 deleted scenes and 3 alternate endings on it. The deleted scenes were funny – especially the one where Lauren freaks out – but you can see why they were cut. The alternate endings were … well, better than the actual ending, in my opinion!! I’m still disappointed by who she chose, and just hope that Reese works with the other guy again in the future 😉 Still, enough of my opinion, here are the screencaptures …
Last night Reese made her first public appearance since giving birth to Tennessee James, at the opening of the new rag & bone Flagship store in Los Angeles. She looked pretty in a little blue dress, and posed with fellow comedienne Cameron Diaz. The first photos have been added to our Gallery, and I will be on the lookout for more in the coming days.
Reese fanatics, I am so excited to share this update with you – I’ve now added over 450 photos from Reese’s appearances in 2002! As with 2001, this is another of my favourite years of Reese, as she looked so pretty and fantastic at all the events. Plus it was the year I became a big Reese fan, so the pics make me feel very nostalgic! 😛 I really love all the photos, but the Oscars and Sweet Home Alabama dresses are definitely two of my all-time favourite looks from her – the Oscars one is just perfect classic Old Hollywood. The two press conference sets are adorable too.
So, jump on in and have a look and enjoy the classic Reese….

Comments Off on Rare HQ stills from SNL in 2001
I have another great update for you today, fellow Reese fans – I’ve added 15 super-rare HQ stills from Reese’s appearance on SNL way back in 2001! As you can see, she took part in a variety of skits alongside SNL stars such as Will Ferrell, and she seemed to fit right in!
Check them out exclusively in the Glamour Reese gallery…
Here is another big & fabulous gallery update for you! I’ve added exactly 360 photos from Reese’s appearances in 2001. This is one of my favourite years of Reese, as she looks so pretty and happy, and she and Ryan were so cute together! My faourite outfits/looks were from the Golden Globes, Legally Blonde premiere, and Teen Choice Awards … what about yours? She also looked really cute at the Letterman studios.
Have fun browsing through all the very pretty photos (most are in HQ) …
I’m on the final stretch of adding screencaptures from Reese’s films, and today we have caps from Jack The Bear, one of her first movies, from way back in 1993 (can you believe that’s almost 20 years ago?!). This was a bizarre movie – it wasn’t at all what I expected, and it felt like 10 different movies in one, it was just all over the place. Reese only had a few scenes, and was obviously good in them … even if she did look about 5+ years older than the boy she was supposed to be dating!! I did like seeing her on screen with Danny DeVito. Still, young Reese is always fun to watch, and this was one of the few Reese movies I had never seen.
Screencaptures from the film, the trailer and the DVD menu’s are in our Gallery for you.
Just got caps from Trumpet Of The Swan and one of my faves, Overnight Delivery, still to add – woop!
I’ve been working hard today to bring you a massive update of photos from Reese’s public appearances, and I’ve managed to get everything from 1991 to 2000 added – that’s over 700 photos! Most of the photos are in HQ, and there are a few rare sets in there that are exclusive to Glamour Reese. Those exclusives include some super cute photos of Reese promoting The Man In The Moon in Deauville and in an unknown place in 1991, and a shot of Reese with Bette Midler at a Ball in 1997. Big thanks goes to our former webmiss Riikka for those particular sets.
I loved going through these photos when adding them – I love edgy 90’s Reese, and it’s really interesting to see how she has matured and changed over the years. There are so many great photos of vintage Reese in here, so jump on in and enjoy! It’s a treat to browse …
Speaking of treats, if you love these photos, then be sure to check back soon in the next few days for even more super rare HQs!
Screencaptures from the final two episodes of Return To Lonesome Dove have now been made and uploaded to our Gallery! Reese was in these episodes less than the first two, but her fleeting scenes were still highlights and as I said before, I really enjoyed her performance as Ferris.
Screencaps from Overnight Delivery, Jack The Bear and a few from the animated Trumpet Of The Swan will be up soon to complete our set of screencaptures in the Gallery! (We are still missing Desperate Choices, but I nor our previous owners were ever able to find that – so if you can help us out with getting it, please let me know – thanks!).
Way back in 1993, Reese starred in Return To Lonesome Dove, an unapproved (by the novel writer) tv mini-series adaptation of the popular Lonesome Dove western novel series. Reese played Ferris, the young wife of powerful rancher Gregor Dunnigan. I’ve got my hands on a copy of the DVD and have now added screencaptures from the first 2 episodes.
While I didn’t particularly enjoy the series as a whole, I thought Reese put in a strong performance, and one of the most mature of her career (don’t forget that she was 16/17 when she made this!!). Her character Ferris was wise beyond her years, loyal and devoted, but also had a young and flirty side to her, and the way Reese played her made me really feel for Ferris. I’d recommend it because of adorable young Reese, and her enjoyable performance.
Browse through exclusive screencaps from the first 2 episodes in our Gallery! Caps from the 3rd & 4th eps will be added within the next few days.
I am back with more film screencaptures for you, and today we have beautiful HD caps from Reese’s 2004 movie, Vanity Fair. They are once again thanks to my friend Maria. This is one of only a few of Reese’s movies that I haven’t seen, so I can’t comment on the movie itself, but the screencaptures are – as with all HD caps – gorgeous, and it looks like Reese got to use her charming smile a lot as the social climber Becky Sharp.
