Third on the TV appearances list for Reese yesterday was Letterman, and she looked lovely on the show in a chic red Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2012 dress. On the way in and out of the studios she kept warm in a black jacket by The Row … keen eyed fans will remember Reese telling Glamour magazine that she is obsessed with a black bag from that brand, so I wonder if she treated herself to this coat, or whether it was lent to her for the appearance!? Back to the Letterman interview, I haven’t watched the interview itself yet so can’t tell you what they chatted about, but knowing Reese it was sure to be a good one. Watch the video below!
I’ve added almost 100 photos of Reese arriving at the studios to tape her appearance, and she obviously took time to smile for the cameras and wave to watching fans. I will add screencaps from this interview in the next few days – I’m again trying to make sure I can get the best possible quality of screencaps for your added viewing pleasure
Reese was also on Live With Kelly yesterday, with a very animated interview with Kelly and co-host Randy Jackson. They chatted about miracle garments, the pressures of the red carpet for women, being a style icon and her character in This Means War. It was a good interview, and nice to see her chat about something different. Watch it below!
I’m going to hold off on making screencaps from this video for now, as I am hoping a better quality version will be available in a few days. Either way, you can expect to see screencaps from this interview in some format later this week.
Reese was a very busy bee yesterday, out and about in New York City to record several interviews to promote This Means War. One of those stops was at The Today Show. During the interview she chatted about working on the movie, fellow comedic actors she’s learnt from, and being a “bombshell” in the movie! She looked pretty and chic as always in a little black/navy dress with hearts on it, and black tights.
Screencaps from the interview, and photos from the taping and of Reese leaving the studios can now be found in our Gallery, and the interview itself is below!
The stars of “This Means War” — Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine — sat down with “Extra” correspondent Terri Seymour and talked about their new comedy/romance.
Witherspoon, whose character is dating two top CIA operatives, played by Pine and Hardy, explained, “Well these guys are very different. They’re both very sophisticated… very attractive.”
Check out the video to find out how the trio answered “Extra’s” romance quiz!
“This Means War” opens in theaters on Valentine’s Day.
If you’ve noticed a recurring theme in actress Reese Witherspoon’s recent film roles, you’re not alone. During last night’s (Jan 31st) MTV First: This Means War, featuring a 30-minute interview with the starlet, host Josh Horowitz addressed the important issue—namely that Reese’s last three movies (“How Do You Know,” “Water for Elephants” and “This Means War”) feature the 35-year-old toying with two men’s emotions.
What did the actress have to say for herself? “This is my love triangle period,” she joked. Okay, okay, we can dig it, but have you ever engaged in tumultuous trio in real life?
“No, but I sure wish I had!” she enthused. “Particularly in this one. This is a really good one. I don’t think that happens a lot in real life. That’s why it’s a movie.”
Reese, however, may have been too quick with her denial, because upon further pressing from Josh, she did admit to dating more than one man at once.
“I was dating a while ago. I was dating two people who knew each other. That was kind of weird,” she revealed. “But I didn’t know they knew each other. As soon as I figured it out, I was like, ‘Ugh, I can’t do that.’”
Of course, Reese doesn’t have to worry about the fraught dating world anymore, as she married agent Jim Toth last March. And for the most part, she doesn’t miss singledom.
“I think it’s hard,” she said of dating. “But it’s also exciting too. It’s fun meeting new people. You have that feeling like, ‘I don’t know if they’re going to call. I don’t know if I’m supposed to call them. Am I supposed to call them?’”
If we knew the answer to that one, Reese, our blood pressure would be at least 10 points lower.
Tom Hardy & Chris Pine Fight Over Reese Witherspoon In ‘This Means War’
Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine chat with Access about doing their own stunts in their new movie, “This Means War.” Also, the trio answers questions about who’s the better kisser, who flubs the most lines and more.
Another press interview for This Means War. I think The Insider will also air an interview with the cast on their TV show tomorrow.
Reese, Chris & Tom Lock Lips for ‘War’ February 06, 2012
Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy form an explosive love triangle in This Means War, the new action-comedy from director McG (Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Terminator Salvation), and the three stars tell The Insider’s Brooke Anderson what it was like to lock lips and shed their clothes for the sake of the movie!
In theaters Valentine’s Day, This Means War finds dangerous CIA operatives Chris and Tom, inseparable partners and best friends, falling independently for Reese. But when they discover that they’re vying for the affections of same girl, all bets are off – and may the best man win!
Reese Witherspoon plays a woman trying to choose between the serious-but-sexy Tom Hardy and the sweet-but-slick Chris Pine in the upcoming This Means War. Picking between the two leading men might sound like a tough task, but Reese said she welcomed the challenge the role presented when we talked with the trio at a recent press day for the project. During our chat, Reese revealed the surprising — if scary — risk one guy took to try and win her over in real life, while Chris admitted to feeling some nerves over his onscreen fistfight with Tom, who has a pretty impressive mixed martial arts background. Check out our interview with the costars and check out This Means War when it hits theaters on Valentine’s Day!
