Hi fans, I just wanted to drop in and update you on all on the status of the site. Lisa has decided to drop out of co-owning the site for various reasons, so now it is just me, Jess, keeping the site going! Updates will be slow for the next few weeks as I finish up at University. After that though, I will have more time to work on re-vamping/re-building the site.

As we’ve mentioned numerous times there will be a new layout, all the content will be updated and new content will be added. The Gallery also needs to be re-built, and just this weekend I’ve been saving and sorting photos that will be uploaded in time. There’s lots to do, but please do bear with me as I will be re-building the site to return it to it’s former standard! I’m excited about getting to that point, and hope you are too.

Just stay tuned for tons of updates here in a few weeks!

Hi fans! Yes, we’re still here Lisa and I are still working on the re-vamp, which involves converting all the pages to a new script, whilst updating those pages and adding lots of new stuff. It’s a lot of work, and we want to make Glamour Reese the best we possibly can for you, so it’s taking us a while!

For now though, I thought I’d take a second to ask you for your input! It would be great to know what you’d particuarly like to see here, what you’d like us to focus on, what you’d like to see more, or less, of. Maybe you like to read loads of film information? Or play interactive games? Or want to find lots of icons to decorate your favourite forums etc. with? Whatever springs to mind, post a comment here or send us an email. We’ll try to incorporate all of your ideas as well as we can

We’re still here!  With the holidays and the lack of any non-gossipy Reese news, there just hasn’t been much to post here unfortunately.  I wanted to let our visitors know that Jess and I are working behind the scenes on converting the site completely to WordPress.  While we don’t anticipate there being any issues, there could be moments where links don’t work properly or pages look a little off.  We want to keep the site open while we do this so bear with us.  It will all be worth it since this conversion is in preparation for a brand new theme which should be debuting sometime in the next few days.

I found and added another small batch of photos of Reese on the set of her latest movie How Do You Know? These were taken back in June but they are new to the site.  In other gallery related news, DVD quality screencaps of Reese in Cruel Intentions and The Man in the Moon have been re-added.  I may not always make a post when I add older film content so be sure to check the gallery daily for new additions.

And finally, Glamour is now on Twitter!  You can follow us at @GlamourReese and as soon as we get a new layout up, the latest tweets will be featured on the site as well.

I’ve been looking over the gallery members and there are a lot that appear to be spam bots.  Instead of spending hours weeding through each member, I will be purging the membership completely sometime tonight and adding an anti-spam measure to the registration process.  If you are currently registered in the gallery you will need to register again.  I apologize for the inconvenience this will cause but it is the fastest and easiest way to insure the stability and security of the gallery.  The purge will likely happen around midnight EST.

Hello fellow Reese fans!  My name is Lisa and I am the proud new owner of Glamour.  Mycah will still be around to help out from time to time but I’ll be doing the majority of the updating from now on.  Some of you may know me from one of my other sites like Enchanting Amy or Scarlett Fan.  I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to be able to work on this site.  I’ve always felt that Glamour really set the bar for the fansite community and I really hope that I am able to continue that tradition.  There is a ton of work to be done (news updates, gallery updates, new layout, etc.) so I hope that everyone will be patient over the next few weeks as I get to work on making Glamour the #1 Reese Witherspoon destination once again.
