Pop the champagne bottles, our girl is officially an Oscar nominee! Reese has been nominated for the Best Actress in a Leading Role category for her portrayal of June Carter in Walk the Line! Other Walk the Line nominations include Joaquin Phoenix – Actor in a Leading Role, Costume Design, Film Editing and Sound Mixing.

Reese will be going up against the following for Best Actress:

The 78th Annual Acadamy Awards will be held 5th of March.
