A couple of months ago I added screencaptures from the Monsters Vs Aliens DVD extras, and a lovely visitor expressed interest in screencaptures from the movie itself … so that’s what you have today! HD screencaptures from the film can now be seen in our Gallery. I’ve added a minimal amount of screencaptures as it’s only an animated role, but I’ve captured all scenes so you can see what Reese’s character Susan/Ginormica gets up to in the movie. I thought it was a fun, entertaining movie, and Reese really brought Susan to life in such an endearing way!

Big thanks to our kind visitor Larissa for sending us some of her lovely banners and icons to use on this site! They have been added to their pages in the Media section. Our Media section needed a kick-start, so I am grateful to Larissa for helping out
Our entire media section was lost during the site’s change of owners/hosts a few years ago, so it is desperately in need of filling up again … if you’ve made any Reese media of any kind and would like to share it with us then please get in touch! We accept anything and everything

Several new cast members have been announced for The Devil’s Knot recently, including Reese’s Best Laid Plans co-star Alessandro Nivola. I thought they were great together in that film and so am excited to see them work together again.
It is also reported that the film will start shooting in Atlanta on June 24th.
Alessandro Nivola Plays Key Role In West Memphis 3 Film ‘Devil’s Knot’
June 11thAlessandro Nivola has been tapped to star opposite Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth in Devil’s Knot, the Atom Egoyan-directed drama about the conviction of the West Memphis 3, a trio falsely accused of a triple homicide in a controversial trial that presented no physical evidence.
Nivola will play Terry Hobbs, the stepfather of one of the young victims. It’s a pivotal role in the film; Hobbs is a controversial figure who has consistently denied any role in the murders but has come under suspicion in the 20 years since the crime was committed. He has never been charged and evidence against him is inconclusive. His relationship with his wife Pam Hobbs (Witherspoon) forms the backbone of the story.
Nivola will next be seen in Sally Potter’s untitled film, which stars Elle Fanning and Annette Bening. He’s repped by CAA and Management 360.

Today’s update is over 1,000 gorgeous HD screencaptures from This Means War! Reese looked so pretty in it – I loved her wardrobe and her hair – so there are lots of great shots in here. The movie itself was entertaining and had some funny moments, but I wouldn’t say it’s one of Reese’s best, and definitely not one of her best performances. My main problem with the film was the ending – I thought it was completely the wrong ending, and didn’t make sense, as she had much better chemistry with the other “product” (as Trish called them!). Still, I’d recommend the movie if you’re looking for some light fun, as Reese is as watchable as always.
I’ll add screencaps from any DVD extras soon. But now, hop on over to the Gallery to enjoy the pretty new HD film screencaps!

Congratulations to Reese’s friend and Mud co-star Matthew McConaughey, who married girlfriend Camila Alves on Saturday evening! Reese and Jim were in attendance, with Reese wearing a green dress for the occassion.
Examiner and People have some more info on the day, although no further details on Reese. Pick up a copy of this week’s People magazine to see exclusive photos from the couple’s special day (there may be pictures of Reese, you’ll have to check and let me know!)…
The actress optioned “Wild” late last year as a starring vehicle, months before the memoir was published this spring.
When Oprah Winfrey announced June 1 that Cheryl Strayed’s hiking memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail was the first pick of her revived book club, among those most excited by the announcement were Reese Witherspoon and her producing partner Bruna Papandrea. The pair, who recently joined forced on their new Pacific Standard banner, had optioned the book in November, four months before its March publication date, as a starring vehicle for the actress.
“It was the first thing we picked up together,” Papandrea says of the project, which Lisa Cholodenko (The Kids Are All Right) is on board to direct. As a result of the Winfrey pick, the Knopf book has seen its Amazon sales position spike from No. 175 to No. 16.
“Wild is a magical and evocative book about losing everything – family, money, your mother, your partner – and finding your true spirit alone in the woods,” Witherspoon tells THR. “I urge everyone to go out and read this amazing story of one woman’s journey to find herself.”
Pacific Standard is the combined shingle of Witherspoon’s Type A Films —whose projects included Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde, Four Christmases and This Means War — and Papandrea’s Make Movies, which is behind the upcoming zombie feature Warm Bodies, helmed by Jonathan Levine (50/50).
President Barack Obama attracted major star power for a mid-week visit to Los Angeles, drawing out A-listers such as Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon to a fundraising event in Beverly Hills.
The president arrived at LAX shortly before 5 p.m., whisked off to address the LGBT Leadership Council at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, an event hosted by Ellen DeGeneres.
Following a four-song set from “Glee’s” Darren Criss, Obama discussed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell to a crowd that included Cher and son Chaz Bono, “Modern Family” actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and George Takei.
“What makes America exceptional is eventually we get it right, what Dr. King called the arc of the moral universe — it bends toward justice,” Obama told the crowd of 600.Following his speech, First Lady Michelle Obama’s husband headed off to a much more exclusive fete — a fundraising dinner thrown by “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy at his Beverly Hills home.
Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, Jane Lynch and HBO honcho Michael Lombardo awaited him, where he spoke again about LGBT issues and the course of his first term.
Tables near an outdoor fountain accommodated eight to 10 guests, and seats weren’t cheap — the event came with a $40,000-per-couple price tag. President Obama is scheduled to depart after a breakfast meeting on Thursday morning.
Examiner.com have posted a new interview with Chris Pine to promote the DVD release of This Means War. Here are the bits in which he mentions our Reese:
JORGE CARREON: Still, how does it feel play a character that embodies a certain amount of charm and power like FDR?
CHRIS PINE: Kind of ridiculous. [LAUGHS] I’ve never thought of myself as that kind of guy, but it’s fun to do. The opportunity that (director) McG gave me in This Means War was to really go full-tilt and really explore the comedy side and have some fun with action. It’s important not to be pigeonholed and, of course, Hollywood does like to fit everybody into these re-made things. But I think any actor that enjoys what they do likes to do different things and will search out different ways to express themselves. Before I took on this role, I met with Reese and we sat down and had a long lunch. From one meeting, I knew that I would love to spend time with this lady. Romantic stuff is always so much easier when you get to sit across from someone that you actually like. I loved Reese and I said, “God, this is going to easy-peasy trying to fall in love with a woman whom I as a human being already love.”
CARREON: Nice to see the women caught in War are not your usual rom com gals?
PINE: What’s fun about Reese and Chelsea is that they’re empowered women. Chelsea speaks like the gruffest dude on the planet. And you have Reese who plays this woman who’s very powerful and very successful in her chosen field. I think the women represented in this field are like you do not want to mess with these women at all! Chelsea will fu*k some shi* up! [LAUGHS]
Reese made a casual appearance at the Kidstock Music And Arts Festival in Beverley Hills yesterday, wearing a comfy looking blue striped dress and treating herself to what I expect is some frozen yoghurt! Her kids were with her to enjoy the day, but she did not pose with them. Find photos of Reese posing for the photogs in our gallery…
EDIT: Photos have now been replaced with HQ ones! We also have some cute tidbits from the event, which I have posted further down this post.

I have now finally added photos from last weekend’s Cannes premiere of Mud! Reese dazzled in a midnight blue silk chiffon Versace dress which was covered in Swarovski crystals. Her shoes were Versace, and she accessorised with Chopard jewels. She looked amazing, so elegant and beautiful! I was also happy to spot that Reese’s husband joined her after the screening – see them together here.
Over 500 HQ photos from the premiere can be now be enjoyed in our Gallery – I hope you love them as much as I did! I’ve also added photos from the after party, and additional HQs from the press conference.
