This Means War director McG is no stranger to working with some of Hollywood’s hottest leading ladies. On his latest film, the man behind Charlie’s Angels says he tasked himself with setting Reese Witherspoon’s America’s Sweetheart image off on a steamy new trajectory. I chatted with McG at the recent LA press day for the project about Reese’s sex appeal and smarts, as well as why the ending he chose for the film might even surprise his cast. Check out the interview and catch This Means War when it hits theaters on Valentine’s Day! (PopSugar.com)
Reese walked the red carpet at the LA premiere for This Means War last night, alongside her 3 co-stars and director McG. Reese showed off her sexy side in a black mini dress with an embellished and very low cut bodice! She paired this Miu Miu dress with Christian Louboutin Pigalle shoes, and a slight wave in her loose blonde hair. Reese looks amazing! What do you think of this look on her? Give us your fashion opinion in the comments section of this post.
So, I’ve added over 130 HQ photos from the premiere to our Gallery for your viewing pleasure. And further down this post are lots of videos with footage and interviews from the red carpet, plus a couple of articles with some quotes from Reese’s chats with reporters there.
Jump on in and enjoy, and check back tomorrow/the next few days for more pics from this premiere.

Reese Witherspoon’s biological clock hasn’t stopped ticking!
At Wednesday’s premiere of her film This Means War at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, the actress, 36, told Us Weekly that she hasn’t ruled out getting pregnant again.
“I would love that!” said Witherspoon, who wed CAA agent Jim Toth in Ojai, Calif. last March. Toth is already stepfather to Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8, Witherspoon’s kids with ex Ryan Phillippe.
“I’m really happy,” gushed Witherspoon, who flaunted her cleavage in a sparkly, low-cut Miu Miu dress with a bustier-like top. “I feel really good and I’m at a really good place in my life.” See more photos of Reese at the This Means War premiere.
How does the star, who revealed her impressive bikini bod (and new tattoos!) on vacation last year, stay in shape?
“I work out all the time anyway just to stay healthy,” she explained. “I don’t believe in crash dieting or anything like that.”
As she looks ahead to her 37th birthday, the Oscar winner offered up advice to other hands-on working moms out there. “Every working mother has to balance work and the children and just enjoy it, because it all goes very fast!”
Before I start on the mass of photos from last night’s This Means War LA premiere, I have a smaller but still pretty awesome update for you – I’ve added an additional 20 HQ photos from the recent This Means War press conference. See more great shots of Reese looking animated while chatting to the media about her movie.
I will be starting to add pics from last night’s premiere in just a second, so keep checking the Gallery if you’re online this minute

Reese Witherspoon had a lot of ‘fun’ making ‘This Means War’.
The 35-year-old actress admits starring in an action film was a new experience for her but she enjoyed all the physical scenes she and co-stars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine had to undertake.
She said: ‘I’d never made an action movie – so this is the first time I have had anything to do with holding a gun, running around and getting chased by the bad guys.
‘I read the script and thought, ‘This is just fun.’ And we don’t take it that seriously. It’s just fantasy and escape.’
The ‘Water for Elephants’ actress also admitted she is looking forward to taking control in more of her work and being a leader now she is older.
She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: ‘I’m excited about producing more. I’m really excited about some stuff that is coming up, and some really awesome women I’m going to be working with.
‘I’ve been making movies for 20 years and it’s time to sort of take a leadership role. You don’t feel like a leader at 35, but when you’re on set and realise, ‘I kind of know everything that’s happening here,’ I think it’s time for me to step up a bit.’
Reese has joined the online world! I have just discovered an official website and Facebook page in her name, and they look to be official. Reese has posted a cute photo of her and Chelsea Handler doing their best Thelma & Louise impression, so I think we can assume the pages are really Reese and are official. At her Facebook page you can read and comment on her status updates and the like, and on her official (WhoSay.com) website you can view the videos and photos she posts on there. So make sure you drop on by and give Reese a big, warm welcome!
It’s so exciting to see her on here, and giving us the chance to connect with her!
It’s the biggest, most important question of the season, people: Whom will Reese Witherspoon choose, between pillow-lipped Brit Tom Hardy and confident playboy Chris Pine, in the spy vs. spy love triangle rom-com This Means War? While you won’t get any spoilers here for the Valentine’s Day release, let Hardy and director McG tease you with the envelope-pushing alternate ending ideas that didn’t quite make it to the final cut. (And no — McG didn’t learn from Terminator: Salvation, which he admitted he “pussed out on.” Hindsight, my friends.)
[To the hardcore spoiler-averse who don't even want to know what doesn't happen in the film, a mild warning for what follows...]
The McG-helmed romantic action-comedy This Means War, written by X-Men: The Last Stand scribe Simon Kinberg, finds Reese Witherspoon dating Hardy and Pine at the same time, unaware that they are CIA spies and best friends. As both men find themselves falling for her she must decide which beau she truly wants to be with.
At a press conference today in Los Angeles, McG revealed one idea that was tossed around early on for ending the film in an unconventional way – by releasing two endings into theaters simultaneously, one in which Witherspoon ends up with Hardy and another where she chooses Pine, with no indication to moviegoers of what they were in for.
“We wanted to have flexibility and even talked about two endings and releasing it on 3,000 screens — 1,500 have this [ending] and 1,500 have that one, and just not saying anything,” McG said. “But it felt a little gimmicky in the end.”
Reese Witherspoon says that she likes to “creep around” online to find out what her exes are up to.
The Hollywood star told Cover Media at the London premier of This Means War that she likes to spy on people sometimes.
Her new movie is about two CIA operatives, played by Tom Hardy and Chris Pine, that get into an epic battle with each other after they find out they are dating the same woman, played by Reese.
And starring in the spy-themed action comedy has given the Oscar winner a taste for some detective work, although all in harmless fun.
“Nothing further than your basic cyber-spying,” Reese said on how far she goes to check up on people. “Like stalk the high school boyfriend on Facebook, that kind of thing.”
“Creep around and look at [pictures of] his kids and go like, ‘Oh my God, his kids are amazing.’”
Reese added that she loved spending time in London as she got to catch up with a close pal.
“Yes, I have a best friend here. So yeah, I love to hang out with her, it’s nice,” she said.
Reese married Hollywood agent Jim Toth in March last year and revealed that they like to watch the latest films on their date nights.
“Yes, I like to go to the movies,” the mother-of-two said. “I recently saw The Descendants and I loved The Artist, so yeah, I love to go to the movies.”
Late last year it was reported that Reese would star in and co-produce a new movie entitled Rule #1, and today ScreenDaily.com report that the movie is being prepped to be sold at the European Film Market:
Foresight Unlimited has added two new Emmett/Furla productions to its slate: Courtney Hunt’s romantic comedy Rule #1 starring Reese Witherspoon and Baltasar Kormakur’s action comedy 2 Guns starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
Brian O’Shea of The Exchange will be helping to sell the projects here at EFM.
For Rule #1 Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing with Brad Epstein of Panther and Reese Witherspoon through her Type A Films. Witherspoon will star as a woman with OCD who takes in a young woman and her newborn baby.
2 Guns, a $90m project being financed with Universal (which will release in the US) starts shooting on June 1 in New Mexico and Louisiana. Producers are Emmett, Furla and Marc Platt.
Envision Entertainment’s Stepan Martirosyan and Remington Chase are executive producing both. Envision has a fund set up with Emmett/Furla.
2 Guns is based on Blake Masters screenplay, adapted from the Steven Grant graphic novel, about a DEA agent and an undercover intelligence officer who are investigating each other and are both being watched by the mob.
Foresight Unlimited’s Mark Damon and Tamara Stuparich De La Barra will be offering both films to international buyers during the European Film Market.
Just a small update for now – I’ve added 3 more This Means War stills (2 of which are HQ), and a new HQ poster for the UK release.
The film receives it’s LA premiere tonight, and Reese will no doubt be flaunting her wonderful style on the red carpet! Check back here tomorrow for full coverage, including HQ photos, and videos…
