MTV Movie Awards (2002)

Speech: Oh my gosh. OK. Wow. I never thought I'd win this! Um. I have to think Karen and Kirsten who wrote the script. Because I'm really not that funny and they wrote all those words and they're really funny. And Marc and Robert and everybody associated with Legally Blonde and I was just so convinced I wasn't gonna win this award cos I asked my daughter this morning, with all due respect she's 3-years old, she doesn't know who Chris Tucker is or Sean William Scott or uh. But she'd seen Shreck and she loves the donkey so I said 'Ava honey, who's funnier? Mommy or the donkey?' and she said "Mommy, I wuv you but your weally silly but the donkey is very funnier.' So thank you MTV, thank you for everyone who voted for me and honey, mommy is silly and funny now!"
