Reese Witherspoon plays Ivy Miller, an ambitious, hard-working college gal who makes extra money by "flash dancing" at a local joint. Ivy meets devastated Wyatt Trips (Paul Rudd), who believes his girlfriend, Kim (Christine Taylor), who attends college in the South, is cheating on him. Ivy helps Wyatt write an insulting break-up letter (including some saucy polaroids of Ivy and Wyatt in bed), but when a misunderstanding is revealed, Wyatt and Ivy will do absolutely anything in their power to stop the delivery.
