In her final year of high school, Elle Woods, the beautiful and likeable blonde and Sorority Chairlady, who seems to have it all, is dumped by her cute fraternity on campus boyfriend, and hopeful fiancé, Warner Huntington III, for being too blonde. Not about to loose the love of her life, Elle embarks on the challenge of her life to win him back by following him to Harward law school. Leaving her best friends and the shopping mall behind, Elle with her beloved side-kick, Bruiser the Chihuahua by her side, takes on law school much to the amusement of fellow students and teachers and lands herself in many hilarious situations. In her quest to win Warner back, Elle befriends the charming Emmett who takes a fond liking of Elle. Elle soon learns that she is on a life changing journey, one that she will fondly remember for the rest of her life.
Reese rocketed to fame in Legally Blonde and soon became America’s Sweetheart. This was Reese’s first film after the birth of her daughter, Ava Elizabeth and would have her baby daughter with her on-set for most of the filming. After first reading the script, Reese was hesitant to take the role but later changed her mind saying, “there were a couple of people in my life who were like, 'You're really going to do that movie? It's just so fluffy and not you.' And I was like, 'No, I think it's really a great message for young women'. You can be frivolous and love clothes and be girly, but still have dreams and want to succeed and get the job done." The rest as they say, is history.
