We often receive emails asking why we do not display paparazzi photos in the Glamour Reese Witherspoon gallery. The reason is very simple; we believe that those images invade Reese’s privacy, and Reese has been very vocal against them.
Glamour Reese Witherspoon is all about respecting Reese as an actress and we do not wish to support gossip-y journalism or paparazzi photography, or anything else that might be harmful to Ms. Witherspoon and her family. We understand that people are curious and there is nothing wrong with that but let’s remember that we should draw lines between what’s Reese’s public life and what is her private life. Reese actively speaks out against the paparazzi’s actions because of the dangerous situations that they have forced upon her and her children. Because of this stalkerazzi photos can not be found at Glamour Reese Witherspoon – the only exception being when Reese is photographed at work on film sets, etc.
“I understand that public life is a choice, but hiding behind bushes at the pre-school and jumping out and frightening the children? These people are really predatory, and they have a lack of regard for children as human beings. Every day they’re at the nursery school, and they jump out and try to get a reaction on your child’s face. I feel it’s unfair to my kids. I ‘ll say, ‘Please don’t frighten the children,’ and they’ll say, ‘F*ck you. I don’t care about you. I don’t care about your children!’”
