In the mockumentary ‘After Lately’ (Sun., 11PM ET on E!) — which pretends to chronicle life behind the scenes of ‘Chelsea Lately’ — the staffers are nearing revolt. Reese Witherspoon has been hanging around the office, and apparently her kindness is driving them crazy.
“We want her gone,” demands one. Chelsea Handler is shocked: “She makes me happy. I am relaxed. And she’s nice: something none of us have ever been to each other in the last two years.”
In Handler’s absence, Witherspoon drops her friendly facade. “I heard everything you said about me,” she tells the staff. “You guys are a bunch of narcissistic jerks. It’s like Chelsea’s running an animal shelter around here. Except she’s not rescuing cats and dogs — she’s rescuing failures.”
It’s March 22nd today and that means one thing – it’s Reese’s birthday! I’d like to wish Reese a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY on behalf of all of her fans here at Glamour Reese. Reese, we hope you have a perfect day and that the year ahead brings you all you wish for, because you deserve it! Thanks for sharing your talent with us Reese, for giving us so much joy through your films, and for being a true inspiration!
Happy Birthday Reese!

If you’d like to share a birthday message for Reese then please leave a comment on this post!
To celebrate this special day, I’ve made a big Gallery update with over 350 HQ photos from some of my favourite, and/or some of Reese’s biggest, public appearances over the years. These include the 2005 Couture Cares: A Benefit for Breast Cancer event (love Reese’s outfit and hair), the 2004 Vanity Fair Premiere (again, love the red dress and the brown hair!), the German Legally Blonde 2 premiere (some gorgeous close-up shots and some classic funny Reese faces), Reese relaxing with a foot spa and some M&M’s whilst heavily pregnant on TRL in 2003, the 2002 Oscars and 2002 Sweet Home Alabama premiere, both of which are 2 of my all-time favourite Reese looks, and the Legally Blonde premiere in 2001, at which Reese is perfect in pink! Enjoy all these gorgeous classic Reese photos … it’s impossible not to!

A few weeks ago I posted about Reese’s new Expressions perfume range for Avon, and we now have a few more details about the scents:
The new trio of perfumes is meant to capture different nuances of her personality as a mom, woman, Global Ambassador for Avon and Hollywood thespian. Each scent has a name which reads like an inspirational message: Love to the Fullest, Live without Regrets, and Laugh Often…
The Expressions collection is all about perfume as being reflective and expressive of moods and emotions, fully acknowledging their changing nature while contributing to the, hopefully, better capture of a complete, harmonious personality.
Love to the Fullest is described as a floral-oriental and as the sexiest of the bunch, meant for “the moments that you share with someone special.” It reportedly captures the glow of falling in love. It is an opulent composition featuring juicy black cherries, lush peony and floral amber with woods.
Live without Regrets is a fruity-floral scent for the woman who lives intensely every day of her life. The composition is said to be modern, optimistic, and an expression of “pure joy.” Notes include opulent flower petals, juicy fruity notes, sparkling bergamot, silky lilies and gardenia.
Laugh Often is said to be a crisp, fresh, and luminous perfume. Its personality is reportedly cheerful and full of spontaneity. There are sunny notes of citrus, mandarin, white tea, light freesia and rose.
Each Eau de Toilette is priced at 35€ for 50 ml.
The range goes on sale this month.
It’s a hard job, but someone’s got to do it. Smouldering Twilight star Robert Pattinson opened up on the perks of fame during a recent interview with US chat show host Jay Leno, telling on filming Water For Elephants’ steamiest scenes, and working with ‘hot girls’.
The star made a rare appearance on the famous stage to promote new circus flick Water For Elephants, and spilled the beans on what it’s like to work with a bevy of beautiful actresses.
‘I like hot girls. I like them. I like being in movies with lots of hot girls,’ he joked before adding that luckily, his co-stars have all been very talented, too.
‘They’re all very strong, actually,’ he said, ‘I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people. They’re never just flimsy floozies.’
Telling all on love scenes with A-lister Reese Witherspoon, R-Patz revealed it certainly wasn’t very romantic filming them on set.
‘The love scene in this, I was doing it when I had a really bad cold,’ he said.
‘I’m not generally that awkward doing stuff apart from when I’ve got my belly coming out. But my nose is running all over the place and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig.’
Robert Pattinson has revealed how a gassy elephant unleashed a terrifying fart in Reese Witherspoon’s face on the set of their new movie.
The pair worked with Tai the elephant on forthcoming film Water For Elephants, and appearing on Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Pattinson told how his co-star managed not to flinch as the animal cut the cheese in a big way right in her face.
‘She had to do some tricks and ended up rolling underneath the elephant that went back on her hind legs and did the most incredible fart directly in Reese’s face for a good 45 seconds,’ he recalled. ‘It shows Reese’s absolute commitment to the job. She just stood there and took it!’
However, despite her windy ways, Pattinson formed a bond with the playful pachyderm, and even let her carry him around in her mouth.
‘The first time I met Tai the elephant I got in her mouth,’ he explained. ‘I just felt like it was a good place to be and she carried me around. They are incredibly gentle. They have huge lips at the front and their teeth are at the back. They just put enough pressure down to hold you in.
‘They are incredible animals. I kind of want to be an elephant.’
HollywoodLife.com is reporting that Reese will be on the cover of the May issue of US Vogue! This will be part of the Water For Elephants promotion. I’ll be on the lookout for confirmation of this and if it is indeed true, then I’ll post the cover as soon as it’s released. I hope it’s true and can’t wait to see this!

Avon Empowerment products and programs in more than 50 countries have raised more than $30 million to end violence against women
Even as women and men around the world celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day on March 8th, violence against women remains a global epidemic. The domestic violence statistics for just one ordinary day in the United States are staggering: on average, three women will be murdered by an intimate partner i, more than 70,000 domestic violence victims will receive services from domestic violence programs and another 10,000 will be turned away for lack of resources, and domestic violence hotlines will receive more than 22,000 calls. Around the world, the statistics are equally horrific: one in three women will be raped, beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused in her lifetime.ii
“Although the problem may seem insurmountable, there are ways for women and men everywhere to help bring an end to violence against women across the globe,” said Reese Witherspoon, Avon Global Ambassador and Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation for Women. “The Avon Empowerment Bracelet is a simple, but powerful, way to raise funds to reduce violence against women. As a woman and as a mother, I urge you to join me on this very special anniversary of International Women’s Day to end this epidemic by wearing and giving the bracelet to friends and family.”
The new bracelet, part of the Avon Women’s Empowerment product collection, is accessibly priced at just $10.00 each. One hundred percent of net profits ($8.04 for each bracelet sold) will benefit Avon Foundation for Women programs dedicated to ending violence against women. The new bracelet features assorted faux-stone, glass and silvertone beads with an “infinity” charm on a stretch bracelet, representing the unlimited opportunities for women when they live violence-free lives. The Empowerment products are available through Avon Sales Representatives in more than 50 countries by calling 1-800-FOR-AVON or by visiting www.avon.com.
Here is the much publicised new trailer for Water For Elephants! This is the one that premiered on Amazon.com on March 3rd. Below that, is a TV spot for the film that aired the same day on American Idol, although it’s just a teaser for that new trailer.
We also some new stills from the movie, which I will be adding – alongside screencaps from the trailer – to the Gallery in a minute. EDIT: Screencaps and new stills are now in our Gallery!
